15th November 2008 Windsurfing: Blithfield Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F3-4 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: Cold Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Marginal wind so rigged 5.8 to practice light wind stuff. In fact, I was planing some of the time at first so perhaps 6.7 would have been better and then I could have changed down when the wind did drop. At least that way I only had to derig one sail. Around 10 out - not bad for a light wind day at this time of year. A pleasant sociable session even though not much planing was going on. Last session for some weeks as I have a knee arthroscopy on Thursday - looks like the weather is going cold anyway. |
